Resort FAQs
How far is the resort from the airport?
Sandals South Coast is approximately 90 minutes from Sangster International Airport (MBJ). We provide complimentary air-conditioned transfers to ensure your journey is comfortable.
Is there a dress code?
During the day, resort casual is the norm. For dinner, most restaurants remain casual, but Eleanor’s requires “Resort Evening Attire” (collared shirts and slacks for men, sundresses or elegant coordinates for women).
Are tips allowed?
At Sandals, all tips and gratuities are included. The only exception is for Personal Butlers and Spa Therapists, who may be tipped at your discretion.
What makes the rooms at Sandals South Coast so special?
Every single room at this resort is beachfront, meaning you are guaranteed a view of the turquoise Caribbean Sea. For those seeking the pinnacle of romance, our Blue Mahoe Overwater Villas feature glass floor panels and private hammocks, while the Rondoval™ Village offers secluded circular suites with private plunge pools and zero-entry swim-up access.
Is everything really unlimited?
Yes! When we say “all-inclusive,” we mean it. Your booking covers unlimited 5-star gourmet food, premium liquors and Robert Mondavi Twin Oaks® wines, round-trip airport transfers, and even all taxes and gratuities. No hidden fees, no stress—just pure bliss.
What is the difference between Luxury, Club, and Butler levels?
Luxury Level: Beautiful beachfront rooms with a stocked refrigerator (soda, water, beer, wine).
Club Level: Includes “Club Sandals” concierge service, access to a private lounge, and a room bar stocked with premium spirits.
Butler Elite: The ultimate experience. Your PADI-certified personal butler handles everything from beachside drink service to unpacking your luggage and securing the best dinner reservations.
What activities are included in my stay?
Your stay includes unlimited land and water sports. Experience PADI® Certified Scuba Diving (up to 2 tanks a day for certified divers), water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. On land, enjoy pickleball, day and night tennis, and a state-of-the-art fitness center—all with professional instruction included.
Do I need a Resort Map to get around?
Sandals South Coast is set on a massive 500-acre nature reserve with a 2-mile private beach. The resort is divided into three European-themed villages: Longbeach (French), Starlight (Dutch), and Silver Sun (Italian). Navigating the resort is easy along the manicured beach paths, but having a map helps you locate hidden gems like the Over-the-Water Wedding Chapel and the secluded Latitudes Bar.
How many restaurants are included at the resort?
You have unlimited access to 9 exceptional restaurants, each offering a distinct culinary journey. From the fresh creations at Sushi on the Sand and the authentic spices of The Jerk Shack to the elegant Caribbean flavors of Eleanor’s, you can dine at a different “destination” every night.
